Voice Dialogue is a technique that helps us approach the most troubling symptoms in our intrapsychic and interpersonal lives by honoring the complexity of the mind in a compassionate, respectful and non-pathologizing way.

Voice Dialogue embraces all aspects of self. Inside each human being live many voices that serve as protectors and inhibitors. For example, many of us are very familiar with our judgmental parental voice or our internal critic. There are infinite examples of the different aspects of ourselves. Some selves are adaptive, protecting our vulnerability and helping us feel safer in the world.  And while they are very useful, they can also get in the way of meeting new challenges as well as preventing us from feeling in touch with our true essence.  Other selves live in the shadows, denied, repressed or undeveloped, others are archetypal, shared by all. Voice Dialogue brings healing through greater self-awareness, greater self-acceptance, and greater clarity and understanding.

We will share a dynamic experiential day learning to recognize these voices, how they protect us and how they can cause tremendous personal and interpersonal conflict resulting in negative bonding patterns. We will learn powerful and effective ways to work with clients using simple language to address complex emotional issues through psycho-education and experiential modalities. We will learn how to give our clients a new, deep experience of themselves to empower them to make the changes they want in their lives.
