Pearblossom Meditation with Rev. Sunim
January 29 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm PST
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 3:00 pm on Saturday, repeating indefinitely
This non-denominational Buddhist meditation class its led by Rev. Hye Wol Sunim, a Sri Lankan monk ordained in two Buddhist traditions. Persons can be of any belief or faith, as long as they also have a sincere respect for what the Buddha taught 2,500 years ago.
The format is 25 minutes of meditation, followed by 40 minutes of dhamma talk followed by another 25 minutes of meditation. Informal mingling over tea afterwards for another 20 minutes is optional. There are enough cushions for participants and chairs are available for those who don’t like to sit on a cushion.
