Description

NeuroAffective Touch™ is a psychobiological approach that integrates the key elements of attachment theory, relational psychoanalysis, and somatic psychotherapy. It brings the primary importance of the body to the foreground and highlights its reciprocal connection with the mind. NeuroAffective Touch “speaks” directly to the body to nurture developmental deficits and resolve traumas that cannot be reached by verbal means alone.

This 4-module training is designed to introduce participants to the use of touch as a therapeutic intervention and to progressively build their confidence to integrate touch within their clinical practice. It can be helpful to all mental health practitioners who wish to increase their capacity to include the body in the resolution of developmental trauma.
