Do you know what you should never say to a betrayed partner or the number one thing a betrayer does to slow the repair process or what to tell a partner whose heterosexual spouse has been having sexual contact outside his/her orientation?
This workshop will examine Betrayal Trauma and the infidelity repair process based on a dozen years of helping couples heal from infidelity and sex addiction.
Whether you are treating the betrayer, the betrayed, or couples recovering from infidelity, whether the betrayal is due to compulsive sexual behavior or a one-time affair, whether the betrayal involved porn, sexting, sex-workers, or an affair, bring your questions.
This workshop will help you understand the neurobiology of the betrayal trauma response, the difference between codependency and trauma when dealing with the partner of a sex addict, and the importance of including psychoeducation, trauma processing and mindfulness in the healing process.
